Our Street Services team works above and beyond to make sure our district is clean and safe. If you see our members around the district, make sure to say hello!

The East Cut CBD is diligently focused on providing cleaning and safety services in our district with an emphasis on hospitality. The East Cut CBD team proactively patrols the district to address quality of life concerns.

Safety

A community cannot thrive without its members feeling safe. The East Cut CBD responds to quality-of-life concerns in the neighborhood 24/7. But please remember, if it is an emergency, call 911 first.

Cleaning

When things get messy, we take care of it. Our ambassadors and team leads patrol the sidewalks of the district before most residents are awake and after many are asleep for the night. More importantly, our ambassadors are trained to pay attention to the small details to keep the sidewalks in the best possible condition. Although the Clean Team is proactively cleaning, we encourage our stakeholders to contact us if there is anything that needs to be addressed.

Pressure Washing

The East Cut CBD’s primary pressure washing service occurs overnight and aims at full block washing. This washing occurs on a five week rotation. Please look at the schedule and map below to see when your sidewalks are scheduled to be washed. Our team does have capacity for light pressure washing during the day for drink spills and biohazard cleanup.

Homeless Welfare Checks

The East Cut CBD strives for a balance of maintaining clean sidewalks and connecting our homeless neighbors with the services they may need. When we receive calls about homeless concerns, our first priority is the health and safety of all parties. We make sure to treat everyone in the public realm equally and with compassion.
