199 Fremont Street is a POPOS between the 181 Fremont and 199 Fremont office towers. The site is situated between Facebook, Fitbit, Marin Day School, and Town Hall restaurant making it extremely busy during lunch hours. The plaza has an intimate space with rock elements that create contrast with the adjacent metal, brick, and glass facades. The space features poetry by Robert Hass and the “Big Bertha” sculpture by Paul Kos.
