Vision Zero SF to improve safety for bicyclists and pedestrians on Howard Street

Following a tragic accident last March, Mayor London Breed issued an executive order for faster traffic safety improvements on the City’s High Injury Network. San Francisco’s Vision Zero is leading the Mayor’s initiative and will build new safety elements on Howard, between 3rd and Embarcadero Streets. Improvements include a parking-protected bike lane, an increase in yellow loading zones, and pedestrian safety features.
