On October 30th, the Greater Rincon Hill Community Benefit District together with District neighbors staged our first-ever Halloween celebration, Halloween on the Green, at Emerald Park. This event marked the first official activation in Emerald Park, the first of five upcoming public spaces to be maintained by the Greater Rincon Hill CBD.
Although rain kept the festivities (and the planned bouncy house) off of Emerald Parks’ lush green space, over 100 families and neighbors attended the Sunday afternoon community event. Infants to retirees enjoyed activities like bubble blowing, live music, a puppet show, pumpkin decorating, face painting, food, and drink.
It was inspiring to see the Halloween spirit bringing so many new and familiar neighbors together.
Please send all programming and activation ideas, big or small, to Greater Rincon Hill CBD staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave in idea in the comments below. We look forward to seeing you again soon at Emerald Park!
