San Francisco Rock Project

The San Francisco Rock Project (SFRP) is a non-profit, performance-based music school located in San Francisco. Their core mission is to empower young musicians (typically ages 7-17, but also offering lessons for all ages) by building confidence, inspiring creativity, and fostering collaboration through music. They achieve this by combining private instrument lessons with group rehearsals, all culminating in live performances at various local music venues, festivals, and special events.  Their group sessions place students into bands based on age, experience, and musical preference, where they learn to play songs together and prepare for their live shows.
