Save the date! On Thursday, August 20, join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the Beale Tiled Stairway, home to a new hand-tiled public art piece titled "East Cut Phases," located in the POPOS at 388 Beale Street. Created by artist Wilma Wyss, the stairway's colorful tile work tells a story of renewal. With its completion, the stairway joins San Francisco's beloved collection of mosaic tiled stairways found throughout the city. We'll gather with neighbors, project sponsors, and community stakeholders for small bites, music, and brief remarks followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Come celebrate this newest piece of public art in our neighborhood, we hope to see you there!
